Lu Arnold’s life is consumed with the pork industry. She is called the “Pork Lady” and has become well-known throughout the state for her work as promotions director for the Utah Pork Producers Association (UPPA). Lu and her husband, Jon, have been in the pork industry for 48 years. The Arnolds built a pork business that at one time encompassed three farms and was one of the largest hog operations in the state.

Before Lu became promotions director for the UPPA in 1998, she had a 38-year career in the corporate world directing human resources programs mostly for computer companies.
