On behalf of The Salvation Army and each of those who were provided food, clothing and gifts by The Salvation Army this past holiday season we thank you for participating in volunteer bell ringing this year.  In addition to holiday assistance, a portion of the funds collected will be used to help those in need during the entire year.   Eighty-three cents of every dollar donated is used to sustain life-changing programs that bring hope to hurting souls.  To get an idea of how the money you helped to raise will be put to use, consider what the following amounts can be used to provide:

From The Salvation Army Continued …

The members of the Bonneville Kiwanis collected $543.63 while ringing the bell this year.  You did an extraordinary job!  Bell ringing not only helps raise necessary funds to assist those in need, but those who ring the bell win by being part of this worthy effort.  It is always rewarding to witness people opening their hearts and giving part of what they have for the benefit of someone in need of help.

May God bless all those who participated in this worthwhile endeavor and we hope to see you ringing for the 2009 holiday season.

Sincerely,

James Sullivan, Major Salt Lake Area Coordinator

Adriane Colvin, Volunteer Coordinator
