Bustos Media is a Spanish-language radio company which owns and operates radio stations in the mid-size, but high growth, markets throughout the United States. Bustos also produces syndicated network formats, targeting US Hispanics which are now being carried by dozens of affiliated radio operators across the nation.

Bustos Media is a privately held broadcasting company based in Sacramento, California.

Bustos Media specializes in the development and operation of Spanish language radio stations in mid-size hyper growth Hispanic markets.

Bustos Media's President and Chief Executive Officer, Amador S. Bustos and his brother John Bustos, built a previous company called Z-Spanish Media, Corp. which was founded in November 1992.

Z-Spanish acquired and operated a total of 32 radio stations plus built a radio network with 48 additional affiliates before the company was sold in August 2000 to Entravision (NYSE: EVC) to become the core of Entravision's Radio Division.

Bustos Media is the Bustos brothers' new Spanish-language radio venture.  Founded in July 2003 with the purchase of a group of stations in Portland, Oregon, the company has experienced phenomenal growth with the support of its equity partners Alta Communications, Providence Equity, and Opportunity Capital.

Bustos Media acquired 18 stations in less than 12 months in the Pacific Northwest, Utah, and California.

Besides its group of radio stations, the company also operates Bustos Media Networks, the country's premier syndicator of Spanish language programming with a variety of formats that closely tracks the musical taste of the vast majority of the U.S. Hispanic Market.
